Providing your family with whole grain goodness and long term food storage.

This website is lovingly dedicated to my mother who has taught me so much. I will be forever grateful to her for her constant example and her tireless effort in behalf of those of us blessed enough to be called her family.

I hear people all of the time talk about storing corn meal in their storage.

STOP!

You do not want to store any grain that has been broken!

Why store an adulterated grain?

Once the grain has been broken it begins to lose nutrition. Storing corn meal, or rolled oats is the same as grinding your wheat first and then storing it in cans or buckets. It is not sound wisdom! The shelf life is diminished, but more importantly, the nutrition is diminished.

Store Popping Corn!

When ground in your grain mill, popcorn makes excellent cornmeal. Here's another secret. . . it pops! Popcorn is a great mood food! By storing popcorn you not only provide your family with complete whole grain nutrition, you add to your fun food list!
