The secret to great crackers is to not overcook them. They will crisp up as they cool. If you cook them until they are crisp, they are way past done! Just cook them until they start to turn a light golden brown, 10-12 minutes max.

Whole Wheat Seeded Crackers
Bake at 400 for 10 min.

1 cup Freshly Ground Whole Wheat
1/2 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Garlic Powder

2 Tbsp Ground Flax seed
3 Tbsp Hulled Ground Sesame Seed

*You do not need special equipment to grind the seeds,
just stick them in your blender a whip them up in a few minutes!

1 Tbsp Butter
2 Tbsp Honey
1/4 Cup Water

Combine the dry ingredients, cut in the butter until the mixture resembles fine crumbs. Add the honey and water. Knead the dough 3 to 4 minutes.

If you will allow the dough to sit over night or several hours, the crackers will develop more flavor.

Roll the dough out very thin, about 1/8 of an inch. Cut into desired shapes and bake in a preheated oven for about ten minute. The crackers will crisp up as they cool.
