Providing your family with whole grain goodness and long term food storage.

This website is lovingly dedicated to my mother who has taught me so much. I will be forever grateful to her for her constant example and her tireless effort in behalf of those of us blessed enough to be called her family.

Menu Madness
A new recipe will be added each Monday and Thursday of June, July, August
and September of 2009

This is a series of posts over a four month period of time intended to help you add menu ideas and ingredients to your family food store.

Quantities are provided in order to help you collect enough ingredients to create each meal 12 times in one year. If you wish to serve a meal more often simply increase your list of supplies. For example, my children like homemade pizza so instead of serving it once a month, I serve it twice a month. I doubled my quantity and have what I need in my family store.

Menu madness will offer a wide variety of menu items that you can pick and choose from. These, along with your own ideas, will help you provide a variety of creative, nutritious meals your family will enjoy.

It is assumed that you will use meat that you have canned, or have in your freezer or both. It is also assumed that you will have cheese on hand. I keep a rotating years supply of waxed cheese in my food room. For more information on cheese waxing visit the cheese waxing page on this site.

By having the ingredients on hand you will never again have to run to the store at the last minute in order to make dinner.

Not if, but when you are no longer able to rely on the supermarket you will breath easy because you will have a full years supply of nutrition in your home!

Whose a Domestic Goddess now!?!
